TESA & 3M Laser Etchable tapes are products used for durable decal production through use of an industrial laser. Both products are adhesive-backed, layered two-color polymer tapes. A laser is used to burn off the top layer, exposing the underlying contrasting color. The materials listed here result in a white marking on a black matte background.
The key differences between TESA PV6 and 3M are thickness(6 vs. 3mil), laser debris(wet vs. dry), and price.
