RFID & Thermal Printer Label & Ribbon Media

Only Polyester and Tedlar label materials are shown here since they are the most commonly used for DOD part tracking applications. Remember that ALL synthetic label stock materials REQUIRE use of a matching thermal transfer ribbon roll.

BradyBondz 483 polyester label stock with ultra agressive adhesive is our recommended option for use with any thermal transfer printer.

Use Resin TTR (Thermal Transfer Ribbon) with synthetic labels such as Polyester, Tedlar (Polyethylene), and Kapton (Polyimide). Use the Wax/Resin TTR with paper labels such as Passive RFID tags.

The Brady IP-Series printers use special media with RFID-chip information. These IP-enabled ribbon and label rolls can NOT be used by other printers.

Please make sure your thermal printer supports the ink-side direction specified in the menu below. Some, but not all thermal printers can support either ink-inside or outside directions.
