New Template Creation - Initial template design services from IDI would require the creation of a completely new Bartender template file. Features include:
• Design of label/nameplate size and page layout & orientation for marking device & material defined by customer. • Physical layout of data elements with customer defined font style & size, UID data style and input source (external database or prompt field). • IDI data filtering to control UID data syntax & structure. • Template filename & version control.
Template Modification - One major advantage of purchasing IDI template design services is that customers can generally learn to modify existing templates faster than create them from scratch. IDI does, however, still provide template file modification services if desired. The level of effort in template design modification depends on whether new data fields or geometry are being added, size & position is changed, or if only simple font style changes are requested. IDI provides 2 different levels of template modification services to accommodate these needs.
